Your Oneva office just got a major upgrade
Documents, spreadsheets and presentations in Oneva now run Collabora 26.04 — a year's worth of improvements, already live in every workspace.
The office editor inside Oneva — the thing that opens when you click a document, spreadsheet, or presentation — just took a big step forward. Every Oneva workspace is now running Collabora 26.04, a full year's worth of improvements rolled out across the fleet. There's nothing to install and nothing to switch on; the next document you open is already the new version.
Here's what you'll actually notice.
Spreadsheets that fit the way teams work
The standout change is per-user sheet views. On a shared spreadsheet, you can now apply your own filters, hide columns, and focus on the rows you care about — without changing what anyone else sees. Two people can analyse the same sheet for completely different things at the same time. For anyone who has ever fought over "who just filtered the master sheet," this one is quietly a big deal.
Alongside it:
- Modern formulas. New functions including
TEXTSPLIT,VSTACKandHSTACK,CHOOSECOLS,TAKEandDROP— better fidelity when you open the latest spreadsheets from elsewhere. - Cleaner tables and pivots. Built-in table styles, calculated columns in pivot tables, and a friendly error helper that flags a problem formula and offers ways to inspect and fix it.
Presentations built for presenting together
Impress gains a proper follow-me mode: your audience's slides sync to yours automatically. And if someone needs to glance back at an earlier slide, they can — then rejoin the live session without interrupting you or anyone else. Decks can now also mix slide sizes in a single file and group slides into sections for easier organisation.
Documents that are easier to review and navigate
Writer makes longer documents far less painful:
- Compare versions side by side, with changes colour-coded by author and timestamp.
- A multi-page view and a searchable Navigator for moving quickly through long files.
- Markdown import and export, and a redesigned, clearer comments panel for collaborative feedback.
Polished throughout
The whole interface got attention: certified accessibility (BITV 2.0), a more flexible dark mode, sharper PDF rendering that adapts to your zoom level, an in-app settings panel, and font menus you can filter just by typing.
It's all live in your workspace right now. Open a document and have a look.
